Often described as zen-like, the imagery she creates is dreamy, feminine, and mysterious. Themes of experimentation, impermanence, and a reverent connection to nature recur throughout her personal work.

Maya is an intuitive photographer and multimedia artist who is interested in all things mystical. This includes philosophy, consciousness, dreams, synchronicities, spirituality, herbalism, and astrology.

She is a Virgo , Enneagram 9 (the peacemaker), and Meyers Briggs personality type INFP. One particularly resonant piece of her Gene Keys profile states that her purpose in life is not in the field of achievement, but rather to lose herself in the joy of activity itself.
